This past Saturday the Larchmere neighborhood transformed itself into a live music venue for the 5th Annual PorchFest, a free event featuring 30 local bands on 30 different porches.
Guests lined the yards of local homes to enjoy a wide array of musical genres including jazz, rock, folk, country, and even some opera! Some favorites of the day included the witty sister duo Shi-Sho, acoustic indie rockers Fever Fever, classic folk musician Bob Sammon, and the all-women indie rockers Early Girl.
Homeowners warmly welcomed PorchFest goers with cute signs, decorations, and comfy couches and chairs in their front yards.
While in the neighborhood, guests were encouraged to visit some of the many shops to cool off from the scorching heat and browse through plenty of unique items. There was no shortage of food in the neighborhood either! Food trucks lined the streets and local restaurants offered plenty of PorchFest day specials.
